The Online Immersion Program, designed for high school students ages 13 and up, has been created for this purpose. It offers exciting topics, covered in depth, through online coursework led by Wake Forest University professors. The program is available year-round, and the online format allows you to study anywhere, anytime, while working at your own pace.

Ever wonder what it’s like to work at hot companies like Apple or Netflix? This online course, designed for high school students, will show you how today’s most competitive companies operate: how they create their brands and products; how they innovate, find people, manage budgets and what investors examine to make investment decisions. If you’re thinking about studying business, economics, banking, technology, product design, management, or marketing in college, this course offers an exciting way to prepare. You’ll get an inside look at today’s business that few high school students have ever experienced.

You’ll be guided by Dr. Dan Fogel, an award-winning professor at Wake Forest, through lecture, multimedia simulations and interactive assignments.

Journey into the heart of medicine

Making the Rounds: An Insider’s Guide to Becoming a Doctor

Always wanted to be a doctor? Or think you may want to pursue pre-med in college? If you have a passion for science and want to get an inside look at how physicians manage the patient journey from ambulance to ER to operating room to rehab, Wake Forest’s online course, designed for high school students, opens the door of learning to this exciting field.

You will be guided by Wake Forest School of Medicine professors, Dr. Lindsay Strowd and Dr. Roy Strowd. They will take you through the lifecycle of a heart attack, including the health factors that trigger a heart attack and how a treatment team works. You’ll see immersive simulations and videos and have course readings and assignments.
